MIDVALE CITY NOTICE INVITING BIDS Sealed Bids will be accepted at Midvale City Hall located at 655 West Center Street, Midvale, Utah 84047 until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 for the construction of: MIDVALE CITY 2013 WATERLINE PROJECTS Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Midvale City Hall. A 5% bid bond is required. Plans and specifications will be available beginning Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 at 10:00 am at the office of HANSEN, ALLEN & LUCE, INC. located at 677l South 900 East, Midvale, Utah 84047 for a non-refundable fee of $30.00 for a hard copy or $10.00 for an electronic version on CD. A Pre-Bid Conference for the project will be held at 2:00 P.M. on June 20, 2013, at the Midvale City Public Works, 8196 South 700 West. This project consists of the construction of six different drinking water pipeline replacement projects throughout Midvale, Utah. The Vanburen Street project consists of 559' of 8" diameter PVC. The Fern Drive and Fern Circle project consists of 1,659' of 8" diameter PVC. The Pamela Way and Judy Drive project consists of 1,369 feet of 8" diameter PVC. The 1020 & 1035 East project consists of 895' of 8" diameter PVC. The Catalpa Road project consists of 1,559' of 8" diameter PVC. The Carlson Avenue, 85 East, 160 East, 6940 South and 6980 South project consists of 3,302 of 8" diameter PVC. The project also includes capping an existing pipeline in 7200 South Street at approximately 530 West, switching over existing and installing new water services, furnishing and installing fittings, fire hydrants, connection materials and miscellaneous appurtenances. Midvale City Corporation reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received, and waive any informality or technicality in bids received, when deemed in the best interest of the City. 8848 UPAXLP
