Riverton City Invitation for Bid #CC13-273 1300 West Roadway improvement Project Riverton City is conducting an Invitation for Bid for the 1300 West Roadway Improvement Project. Work includes: demolition, site clearing, excavation; saw cutting existing road and removal of existing roadway/hard surfaces(to include ~8,600 ft2 ACP removal); placement of ~13,000 ft2 of Asphalt Concrete Pavement Sections; installation of three catch basins and 3 cleanout boxes; 141 feet of 18" equivalent elliptical concrete pipe; waterway structures; 1,200 ft curb and gutter; 8,800 ft2 concrete sidewalk/ driveways /approaches and ADA ramps; 2,000 ft2 sod and top soil; sprinkler work as required; one street light; fire hydrant removal and installation; raising utilities to grade; signage and pavement markings; other items included as specified. Sealed bids will be due in the Purchasing Office, located at 12830 South 1700 West, Riverton, Utah 84065, at 2:00 pm on August 20, 2013. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid. Riverton City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 8, 2013 at the Public Works Facility located at 12526 South 4150 West, Riverton, Utah 84065.
