SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 62 OF 2013 The Salt Lake City Council at its November 12, 2013 meeting adopted an ordinance amending certain sections of Title 21A, Zoning, Salt Lake City Code, relating to parking and transportation demand management pursuant to Petition No. PLNPCM2010-00468. The changes are designed to encourage sustainable transportation and mobility development by integrating Transportation Demand Management strategies. Among others, the proposed changes include a) reducing the number of curb cuts allowed in residential and nonresidential district; b) capping the number of off-street parking spaces allowed; c) clearly delineated pedestrian access in parking lots; and d) expanding regulations for bicycle parking, location, and design. Related provision of Title 21A, Zoning, may also be amended as part of this petition.
